Creative Passions + Past guest on The Passion Brewing Momma Podcast
Hello and welcome back!
If any of you currently follow me on Instagram, you already know that I am passionate about card making and papercrafting. I shared a little bit about that in my previous post about my latest passion of making origami dresses. I just love how a little bit of pretty paper, in this case patterned Japanese washi, and a simple idea can turn into a beautiful one-of-a-kind creation.
So what are your passions?
Finding fulfillment in my own creative endeavors has become overwhelmingly important to me this year. It can be difficult to find a balance to pursue your individual passions while being a mother, a wife, and then a stay at home mom or a full-time employee outside the home. This is something that not only I struggle with, but I've found that many other women share this same struggle.
Well, I was recently very fortunate to be invited to be a guest for the second episode of a new podcast called The Passion Brewing Momma Podcast hosted by Whitney to discuss this very topic. That episode aired exactly one week ago today and is still on my mind as an important issue.
We had an absolutely great discussion about finding your passion in the everyday, and I tried to pass along some positive words of encouragement to all of our fellow moms out there. Finding "you" again in the midst of all your mom duties can be a very daunting task. One of which can make many women give up on their dreams or simply not make time for themselves. And making time for yourself is exactly what every mother needs in order to find her passion or pursue a dream. It has taken me a while, but I am finally on my own happy journey in following my passions.
Whitney is a gracious soul that has endured her own share of struggles as a mom, and was so very kind to allow me to share a little about my own story on her platform.
